SWE presents the Kids Engineering Expo

Join us for Engineering Expo in 2024 as we celebrate our 26th year! Engineering Expo is hosted by the Society of Women Engineers with our presenting sponsor as Spirit AeroSystems

Engineering Expo is a FREE event for kids K-8th grade. The focus is making Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fun! There will be 40+ different hands-on STEM activities, including classics like balancing butterflies, slime and water bead stress balls.

As the flagship event for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Wichita Professional Section, the FREE Engineering Expo has been igniting the imaginations of girls and boys via a spectrum of STEM-related concepts and hands-on activities since 1998. STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, and math. We focus on enabling the next generation to explore STEM as an avenue to understand the world around them and explore the art of the possible.
